Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese heritage, while her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has deep roots in The American South. The couple divorced when Olivia was two years old, and she was raised by her stepfather and mother, an active member of the United States Air Force. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was brought up at Tokyo, Japan. While in Japan, she acted as an actress at local shows and eventually turned into an Japanese fashion model. Olivia moved back to Los Angeles after the family's relocation in this part of the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actress. In the end, she was able to land a couple of tiny roles on television shows that featured Hawaii lense (such like Beyond the Break), she was cast in the show Mily Acuna, and was offered Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. She hosts G4 podcasts like "The Daily Nut,"" "Formula D,"" as well as "Formula D." She enjoys surfing and has been practising it ever since the television program Beyond the Break (2006). Her black belt is in taekwondo. Her mother got married at the age of two years old to an Air Force official. Although the family moved numerous times, the vast majority of her life was spent in Tokyo Japan, the location in which her father worked for the military. The university she attended was her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
