Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the sole female in the history of sports to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete as well as a media star. She was the first female winner of an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for taking home in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and in 2017. Annie, along with her siblings and parents, were born in Reykjavik Iceland. She was an active athlete and started working out at the age of five. Her first participation was occasion in 2009 CrossFit Games in California and did very well. Annie Thorisdottir's ages are 31 years old (as as of 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 77.5kg. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in the year 2009. She did well in her first races and placed in the first 10 in a field of 70. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to win any awards but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen. Annie was 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Later in the year, she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie again won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete who was able to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal that was silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's increasing popularity as a professional athlete has allowed her to be the spokesperson for many brand names in the field of sports, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than 3000 viewers. This includes videos about eating habits for training and life with family.
