Zoe-perry

Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played her role. Her parents, however, did not let her perform until she reached the age of adulthood because of the negative effects that stress could affect their child. Perry states that she did not want to be an actor in high school, but she decided to begin acting as a social activity during her time at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry left for New York, where she landed small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Home sickiness led Perry back to California and theater roles were in demand. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was presented in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Her father portrayed her in her role on the ABC drama Scandal. The actress was also featured on The CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The role was selected via auditions though she had a close association with it.
