Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. She received the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start around the globe. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Other films she has appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw is married three times.
