Dwayne "The rock" Johnson was born in 1972, into a wrestling family. World Wrestling Entertainment. He wrestled alongside World Wrestling Ent. (W.W.E.) He was awarded in the W.W.E. Heavyweight multiple times. Johnson followed his winnings in the sport into a film career by appearing in films including The Mummy Returns in 2001 and Tooth Fairy in 2010. Later projects included his role in the HBO series Ballers notable parts in the Fast & Furious franchise and the Jumanji sequels as well as an voice acting role as Maui on The Disney film Moana. Rocky Johnson is his father and Ata is pro wrestler. Peter Maivia, the maternal grandfather of Johnson's mother Ata became famous on the wrestling scene in the 60s and 70s. Johnson's early years were spent travelling as well as watching his father compete in the ring. Johnson was a football player throughout his senior years, and soon he was awarded full scholarships to The University of Miami where he was a star. Johnson earned an undergraduate degree in General Studies degree in criminology as well as physiology that following year.
